Inside The Treatment Room

Massage is one of my favorite steps in a facial.

Clients often love to feel pampered with a great massage, but there are actually a lot of other benefits to massage during your facial. Improved circulation: Massage often increases blood flow to the area being massaged, which brings oxygen and other nutrients to the skin cells, resulting in a glowing complexion.

How It Helps

Lymphatic drainage: Massage helps remove toxins and reduces fluid retention, minimizing puffiness.

Muscle relaxation: Massage relieves tension which can prevent the formation of some lines and wrinkles.

Massage enhances product absorption by pushing the serums and moisturizers deeper into the skin.

Massage stimulates collagen production leading to improved skin elasticity and firmness.

How Stress Affects the Skin

Stress definitely affects the skin’s appearance so a bit of relaxation is just what the esthetician ordered!!

Lately, I have been loving using my Pre-Cleansing Oil along with some backbar only skin serum concentrates for my massage medium. This helps further results during the massage portion of the facial. I will sometimes also massage certain masks for more benefit.
